Founded in 1972 by CEO and president Ron Horziencik, The Tropics is a leader in the exotic rare plants and trees industry. Directed by plantscaping artist Ryan Hoziencik, our creative reputation signature designs and services is globally prominent.
Since opening, our business has grown exponentially from selling 6” common houseplants at a Hollywood Swapmeet to an internationally acclaimed exotic plant gallery specializing in rare, unique one of kind plants and trees that we supply to residential and corporate customers worldwide. Thousands of tropical plants, trees, orchids, and decorative accessories are housed in our 20,000 square foot showroom. Our corporate goal is to offer premier plantscaping services to our clientele by enhancing any environment with superior design and exemplary tropical plant and tree products. We pride ourselves with having an extensive inventory available at all times. Our mission is to create the perfect oasis for our clients in any of their living or work spaces.
